White Tiger (Panthera Tigris Tigris) ~ Tiger Rare Endangered Species

White tiger (Panthera tigris tigris), also known as the white Bengal tiger, is a subspecies of tiger found throughout India. Although the area has historically white tigers are very large, these animals are very rare because of the color of their fur is white with a black stripe as a result of genetic errors that occur when the mother womb. For several centuries became the rarer white tiger in the wild due to poaching and capture for sale as exotic pets. For over 50 years there has been no record of the white tigers in the wild. Today, the white tigers can still be found in some zoos and animal breeding places around the world. Same with the Bengal tiger, white tiger species declared as the second largest in the world after the Siberian tiger.

The white tiger is the large and powerful animal that can weigh 300kg and a length of more than 3 meters. Unlike the white variations found in other animal species, white tigers are not albino as they still carry some form of pigment that creates the color of their fur. Note some white tigers still have orange color on white fur. Like the other tiger species, the white tiger has stripes of black or dark brown lined up vertically along their bodies. Along with changes in coat color, the gene carried by white tigress was also made of white tigers have blue eyes where the eye of the tiger usually green or yellow. Although the white tiger has white feathers are beautiful, but it is actually white in their plumage is a disadvantage because they are not disguised well in the woods when going hunting.

White tigers were once found in many regions of India and the surrounding countries, but their range area has decreased dramatically, especially during the last 100 years. The white tiger belongs to the Bengal tiger subspecies. Today, the Bengal tiger is only found in certain areas of their natural habitat in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. Although the Bengal tiger population decline, but when compared with other types of a tiger, Bengal tiger numbers are still relatively large. White tigers can only be found in the wild, but it is rare for the parent carrying the gene of white tigers really married, and with a decrease in the number of Bengal tigers in their habitat, then the chances of white tigers born in the wild were reduced every day.
